Unless The Lord

About Us

Tamra and I have been married since 1992, we have six children, five girls and one boy. We have recently welcomed a son-in-law and our first grandson. We believe that the family that lives by the motto, Unless The Lord, will have many years of joy. This doesn’t mean that life will be perfect, but it does mean that through the many trials of life, a family can hold on to the promises of God and get through anything together.

Our goal is to equip families to not only live their life with purpose, but to change their outlook and in the process change their outcome. Living a life of complete dependence on the Lord is not easy, but it can be freeing, it can be relieving. When families give up control and give it to God, they will be happier and healthier.

Psalm 127
A song of ascents. Of Solomon.
1 Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain.
2 In vain you rise early
and stay up late,
toiling for food to eat—
for he grants sleep to those he loves.
3 Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.
4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth.
5 Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame
when they contend with their opponents in court
